Inspiration File – Bold Color

I consider myself to be pretty daring when it comes to using color in my home.  I don’t have white walls.  But, these images definite push my comfort level in terms of the use of color on walls.

    too much for me and that shade of green is definitely not me!

    Yikes! It’s like LSU threw up in #2!

    I don’t #3 is that bad, though. There’s definitely enough white to offset the pink.

    Out of consideration for the next tenants, we must remain with neutrals in our parsonage, but I could do a reverse and have bright accessories, huh? However, the blue and white room makes me wonder if I could find the chair. All the others, ummm, not me, except I kind of like the last one.

      I definitely think that neutral walls and bold accents is usually a better choice. Tastes change over time and it is much easier to replace throw pillows than to repaint an entire room or home.
