One change can lead to another

March 26, 2010

A while back, I posted about swapping the silver handles in my kitchen for oil-rubbed bronze ones.  I loved the change, but it left our silver dining chandelier looking out-of-place.

So, I decided to update it with a chandelier to match the pendant over the sink.

The new fixture was $60 at Menard’s.  I was able to sell the old one for $40 on craigslist, so the whole change cost me $20.  It was an easy update, and this one fits our style much better.

What do you think?

Good job. I didn’t notice all the earth tones before, but the new fixture is in harmony with your drapes, furniture, etc.

    Good idea!

How are you doing at Punch Out? I haven’t heard an update in awhile.

Super Macho Man will fight like soda pop, except for a different
special attack. He starts with uppercuts which you get 6 hits if you can
dodge. You also get 4 hits on him for each dodged hook. if you can time late too you can get a star i think. If he stops punching for a while, then watch him until he vibrates, as this signals a spin punch that can knock you off your feet if not dodged. Every time you knock
him down, he will get back up, flash, then throw a ton of spin punches.
Once you get the rythim of dodging, you will be able to get a lot of
    hits on him.
