Inspiration File – Nooks

I love nooks. They are like private pearls tucked secretly into tiny spaces in our homes. They maximize the space in our homes and define zones within rooms. Here are some of the best nooks that my internet scrounging turned up.

As you can tell, nooks can be for reading, breakfast, napping, meditating or anything else your mind can imagine. So, now that you are inspired, don’t let those nooks go to waste; find those small treasures within your homes and put them to good use.

I really like the first one and the one with the desk. I just learned that you can buy chalkboard paint and do that. How cool! Perhaps an idea for Edward’s new room downstairs?

Funny you mentioned that. I have actually used chalkboard paint before. I painted a swatch on my terra cotta herb pots so I could write what I planted in each on them.
I do plan on doing chalkboard paint in Edward’s new room on the closet doors.
